Being a stay-at-home dad is deeply rewarding, but also incredibly challenging. On the hardest days, when you’re balancing parenting, work, and relationships—it’s easy to question your choice to stay home.
From firsthand experience, I know how lonely it can feel to prioritize your kids over your career. Even though it may feel like it, you’re not alone. Together, we can rewrite the narrative of what it actually means to be a stay at home dad.
Are you a stay-at-home dad or working mom?
About Me
When our first child was born, I made the choice to stay home—putting my career, goals, and ambitions aside to support our young family. My partner needed my help to raise our children while she pursued graduate school and professional work. It was the right decision for our family, but not an easy one. As first-time parents navigating reversed roles, we faced relationship tension, identity loss, and moments of intense doubt. She struggled with wanting to be fully present at home while chasing her dreams, and I struggled with what it meant to be a man without the traditional markers of success.
Through the challenges and hardships, we eventually found our rhythm. Now we’re sharing everything we’ve learned. This site is a resource for stay-at-home dads and working moms—a space full of the advice, encouragement, and the real life perspectives we wish we had. If you’re walking a similar path, you’re in the right place.
